To cut or not to cut…

…that is the question!  Why does our hair have to have such drama?  Men just wash and go…ours has it’s own identity!  So much of who we are is wrapped up in our tresses.  I flip flop constantly about the state of my hair.
When it’s long, I take the lazy way out and pull it up in a ponytail…everyday…
Why bother with long hair if I’m not going to bother to fix it?  That is my repeated question to my sweet hubby who happens to love my hair long.  You think if men had to fix OUR hair everyday they would still love long hair…
My guess is, uh….no.
I love my hair short.  It’s light and carefree, easy to fix, less likely to be pulled by one of these cuties.  ‘Cause that mess hurts!

I always seem to want to grow it out when I’m pregnant.  Maybe I feel more motherly with long hair, who knows!

Well, above mentioned pregnancy is over so the scissors are coming out!  I mentioned it to Bryan and it went by without much discussion.  Wa Hoo!!!!

Come Tuesday…Salon Elegance…here I come!  I love this hair cut without the blond of course!  Jennifer may have to thin mine out 12 times to get it to look like this, but I’m up for it!

Counting down until Tuesday…

Until next time,

  1. Love it! I too, did the short thing after Bryce was born. It is fun and sassy! I like the cut you chose too. I think that you will look great! I am all for easy. I am growing mine back out, but when I see my short hair pics, I miss it short. It is hard to have a style with long hair. The older I get, the less I like it, except fot the ponytail in a hurry option that you spoke of! Mine still looks bad, even in a ponytail! Dilemas! I HATE fixing my hair! lol Can't wait to see ur new do!
