Neely finally got a REAL bath this morning!!! And as a side note, she DID NOT like it one bit! 🙂
She had a good night. They did lots of things during the night, so not much sleep around here. I did somehow manage to sleep through them coming in and doing a head sonogram….go figure! Must have been tired!
Neely is quite the feisty little patient! All the nurses comment on how strong she is. We know her strength comes from the Lord! She gives the nurses what for when they are working on her and as soon as they stop she calms right down and quits fussing. Just like her siblings……persnickety!!!
They drew most of the blood they needed last night for her further testing but are having some issues with it clotting too quickly. We want clotting but also want them to have good samples for her needed tests. Praying that the next samples they need cooperate!
Hoping she’ll get to meet Ellie and Ruby Kate today! And Ethan soon too! I can’t wait! I sure do miss my babies! So thankful that God has placed friends in our lives for such a time as this. The Ulrichs and the Colemans are such a blessing to us and I am so thankful I can spend my time here focused on Neely without having to worry about my other little ones. God is so good!
Bryan and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your constant prayers. It is felt my friends.
Praying for a better day of breast feeding today with Neely. She just wants to sleep and doesn’t have much appetite while being on this IV. The nurse assures me that her first 24 hours we could expect that and that she should pick up today. Praying for a HEARTY appetite.
Asking God as well to keep me “nursing centered” today! It is easy to get distracted and caught up in all the things going on and skip a pumping session. Focus!!!!
You, God, are awesome in your sanctuary; the God of Israel gives power and strength to his people.
Praise be to God! Psalm 68:35
